Traveling and going on holiday is one of life’s highlights, but there are things that are not always so easy once we are in the destination, how do you take for example. find out;

    • What is there to experience and do at the destination?
    • How to buy tickets for sightseeing and transportation?
    • Is there a public restroom nearby?
    • How do I book a table at restaurants without needing 3 apps?
    • How do I get from A to B?

In destinations around the world, there are also entrepreneurs with rooms to rent out, chairs in a restaurant to fill and products to sell and rent out that will be unsold if they are not sold today.

Today we live in a paradigm shift where the mobile phone has changed our lives.
It is at the center of EVERYTHING.
But as a guest at a destination, it suddenly becomes difficult to use.

As a guest, you want all the destination’s offers easily accessible on your mobile – in ONE app.

Geztio was formed in 2015 by the entrepreneur Lars-Börje “Bulan” Eriksson after his time as CEO of Åre Destination AB 2008-2013. The basis was the realization that consumers and entrepreneurs need to find each other in a smoother way.

Through an analysis-driven mobile marketplace, the consumer’s experience can be improved by making a destination’s range easily accessible via mobile. At the same time, companies can easily offer their services and products to the guest.

The product is based on world-leading tourism research by researchers from Mid Sweden University and consists of an analysis platform and an app that communicates, advertises and sells destinations and events to the guest.

A successful proof-of-concept has been established. In the spring of 2017, the company launched its MVP on the analysis platform and the app has been successfully used at the Alpine WC in Åre 2019, the biathlon WC in Östersund 2019, Skitour 2020 and the Medieval Week 2020.
